Our story
Pull up a stool
Built as a harbour pub in the 1890s, the Anchor & Oak has served fishermen, sailors and locals for generations. The sandstone walls are original; the beer is fresh.
Our kitchen uses fish caught off the Tassie coast, meat from a butcher in the Huon Valley and veg from local growers. Our beers come from breweries just down the road.
Muddy boots, dogs and families are all welcome. In summer the courtyard fills up early, and in winter the fire is going by lunchtime.
